Production Capacity Doubled to 400 Tons for Silver-related Inorganic Antimicrobial Agent "Novaron"

Recently, interest has grown rapidly in antimicrobial products, spurred along by the O-157 bacterial incident last year, and antimicrobial agents are now used in places exposed to water, such as kitchens, toilets and bathrooms, as well as in such familiar home electrical appliances as refrigerators. Among these agents, Toagosei's silver-related inorganic antimicrobial agent "Novaron" is held in high regard by the market. Recently, to respond to growing demand for this product, we doubled the capacity of the production facilities at our Tokushima Factory to an annual 400 tons. We will now step up our marketing efforts both in Japan and overseas as part of our aim of achieving a further expansion in sales of highly functional products.
