6th World Vinyl Chloride Conference, Attended by President Senda as Chairman of the Japan PVC Association

The 6th World Vinyl Chloride Conference was held in Osaka from October 6 to October 8. Following an opening address by Managing Director Matsui of the Japan PVC Association, President Senda, Chairman of the Japan PVC Association, greeted the participants and the conference officially commenced. President Senda mentioned the important topic of environmental issues and emphasized in particular the importance of "slowing down moves to avoid vinyl chlorides" and "efforts to treat and recycle vinyl chloride waste matter." On behalf of the industry, he expressed a determination to deal with environmental issues. Subsequently, in accordance with the program, opinions were freely exchanged and the conference achieved great success in its aim of contributing to the further development of the vinyl chloride industry, which is an integral part of the international community.
